Our company.

Belonging to the group Fomento de Iniciativas, VFUs Armonia Galicia is a CAT (Authorized treatment center) whose mission is to carry out the correct environmental recovery of ELV (End of life vehicles) and to prepare the recycling of the components.

Located in Somozas (A Coruña), since May 2004, are our business activity complies with the new legislation brought into force by the RD 1383/2002 and Orden Int. 249/2004 as to the management of vehicles at the end of their life of use.

Our objective is the treatment of dangerous residues that form part of the cars and the adequate recycling of the other components.

Tecnology.

New facilities which have state of the art technology in the fields of decontamination and dismantling of vehicles.

We have at our disposal a line for dismantling vehicles which can totally recycle 20.000 vehicles per year.

Authorised Centre.

The present legislation charges the CATs with the strict fulfilment of rigid norms that are an assurance of a perfect decontamination and treatment of the ELVs.

VFUs Armonía Galicia SL is an Authorised Centre (inscribed in the registry as RTP-G-37-2004) for the emission of Certificates of Destruction.

We are members of the associations for the treatment of vehicles no longer in use Sigrauto, Aedra, Travega and Aproema (Galician Association for Environmental Companies).

We are immersed in the process of implanting an integrated system of quality control and environmental management.

QUALITY.

The greater guarantee of our commitment with the quality and the environment respect with which VFUs Armonia Galicia works is that it is implanting an Integrated System of Management of Environmental Quality by the Norms ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004.
